***Lieutenant Colonel Don Arias retired from the Air Force in June 2008 after 31 years of total service. Colonel Arias is an award-winning military journalist, broadcaster and speechwriter.

Upon retirement from the Air Force he worked as a civilian public affairs planner for the Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field, Florida.

After his work with Air Force Special Operations, he went on to create, produce, and host two local Fox television shows and hosted a local talk radio show. He has made appearances on Fox and Friends, the Kelly File, the Fox News political panel and Newsmax.

From 1989 to 1996 Don was a New York City firefighter. He served the people of New York City at Engine 239 in Brooklyn, and at Ladder 36 in Manhattan. In 1993 he responded to the first World Trade Center bombing.

On Sept. 11, 2001, Don was the director of public affairs for 1st Air Force and the Continental United States NORAD Region at Tyndall AFB. It was that fateful morning he shared what he later learned would be his final phone call with his younger brother Adam. Since then he has made three trips to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to advocate for 9-11 families.

Don currently works on Tyndall Air Force Base as the Chief of Public Affairs for the Natural Disaster Recovery Program Management Office which oversees the $5 billion Tyndall rebuild.

He has a degree in Business Administration from Northwood University, Midland, Michigan, and is a graduate of the Defense Information School, Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College and Air War College.

Now, Don is the co-host of Magic Broadcasting’s weekend radio show Don and Veronica LIVE on NewsTalk@101 in Panama City.


***Major Veronica Kemeny retired from the Air Force in 2010 serving 20 years.  She served as a Public Affairs Officer and also as a Protocol Officer. She has received many awards to include five Meritorious Service Medals.

Today Veronica is a Vice President running a busy public relations company during the week specializing in public engagement deliverables and video production for clients throughout the Panhandle.  Prior to joining her company, Veronica worked as the Public Affairs and Protocol lead for the Tyndall Air Force Base Program Management Office overseeing the $5 Billion Rebuild.

Veronica has worked on numerous political campaigns for several years leading the charge at getting Republicans elected.  She served as the Bay County Chairman for the Donald Trump 2016 election campaign.  She also served as Governor Rick Scott’s Veteran Coalition Leader for the Panhandle.  She received a Republican Party of Florida Volunteer of the Year award for her work with Governor Scott’s campaign.

In October 2017, Veronica was diagnosed with breast cancer. She found a lump three weeks after having had a perfect mammogram. She is a Pink Warrior who endured five surgeries, 12 weeks of chemo and 4 weeks of radiation and losing her trademark red hair. She has a clean bill of health today and has made it her mission to help ladies when they are first diagnosed and in a state of shock. She has spent hours and hours on the phone and in person offering inspiration and guidance.  She always thanks God for helping her walk through the fight of her life.

Veronica has a degree in Spanish from George Mason University and is fluent in Spanish.

She has lived all over the world and is also an Air Force Brat. She resides in Panama City with her retired fighter pilot husband Malcolm “X” who trains F-22 pilots at Tyndall AFB.

Veronica hosts and produces Don & Veronica LIVE every Saturday.  She also produces the Brian Rust Show during the weekday morning drive. She has booked hundreds of guests for both shows which are on Magic Broadcasting’s NewsTalk@101.  She calls her cherished radio shows her golf game!
